Patrick Ness ha risposto ad alcune voci che affermavano l'apparizione del dodicesimo Dottore nello spin-off "Class".
"Non posso ancora né confermare né smentire", ha detto lo scrittore principale dello show Radio Times. "Ma io sono un grande fan di Peter Capaldi, mettiamola in questo modo."
“I can neither yet confirm nor deny,” the show’s lead writer told the Radio Times.
“But I’m a big Peter Capaldi fan, let’s put it that way.”
E aggiunge: "E 'divertente - io non so dare una risposta alla domanda. Ho già iniziato a ignorare i tweet che dicono 'Abbiamo sentito questo!' E 'le mie fonti dicono!' E io rido, voglio dire come wow, perché alcune delle cose che ho visto sono così selvaggiamente sbagliate. Io penso: 'Oh, questo potrebbe essere un anno divertente.' "

E so che ci sono cose sul modo in cui ho già scritto, o non vedo l'ora di scrivere. Così ho ottenuto tutti gli episodi tracciati fuori. Ho molte molte cose scritte - ed è davvero emozionante! Vorrei poter dire i dettagli, ma è troppo presto. "
